Welcome
to Japan, where dedicating a tunnel to a trilobite is perfectly logical.
![]() ...and you might not want to drink the water... ![]() ...their heroes have some pretty odd superpowers, as well... ![]() It's difficult to tell in this picture, but I think this train was stopped (temporarily) because it was too full. See those people in the doorway? That's the LIGHT part of the train car, since there are four or five people standing outside the car. They'll squeeze back in when they hear the bell. Imagine what it's like when you're not particularly close to a door. ![]() But don't worry. If the train is too full, you can always road. ![]() Pets are welcome. Even giant pandas. So long as they don't mind waiting. ![]() Having worked briefly in advertising, I do have to wonder just what precisely some of their ads are trying to persuade people to do. ![]() "Does this haircut make me look fat? NO? Dammit!" ![]() "Do Not Pet The Fish, or run like a girl." ![]() OK, look closely at this: ![]() What do you think it is? ...c'mon, guess... ...right. Bath salts. Beer scented bath salts. One more time. Beer scented bath salts. ![]() Don't drink 'em. You might see giant spiders. ![]() Complete with eggs. ![]() OK, that picture was actually taken at Roppongi Hills. Which you can kind of see in this photo: ![]() Maybe. The above photo was taken in Shinjuku, from 45 floors up. If you make it back down to ground level, you can walk to Shinjuku Park. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() To give you a sense of place, all four of those photos were taken from the same spot, just rotated. OK. I just got home from watching a 72 year old ballet dancer do things I can't do now at the age of 36 (sorry, no pictures allowed.) I'm gonna go to bed and work out first thing tomorrow. As always, I can be reached here. Until next time. |
